Course description
During Module 1 the requirements
of ISO 9001:2008 will be explained and applied to the specific organisation.
Module 2 addresses practices for
effective internal audits as required by ISO 19011 and ISO 9001:2008. |

Module 2: Auditing
- Explain definitions and concepts
- Explain audit responsibilities
- Schedule internal audits

- Conduct opening meetings
- Conduct on-site audit activities
- Communicate effectively during the audit
- Collect information and generate audit findings
- Write audit nonconfromities
- Prepare audit conclusions

ISO 9001 standard as well as course notes. |
Who should attend?
Anyone involved with the implementation and auditing
of ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems. |
Student assessment:
- Students will be required to successfully
complete various practical assignments
- Students are also required to pass a written
exam at the end of Module 2 (2 hours)
- The
pass mark for the examination is 60%

Certification: A certificate of successful completion is
issued to students who demonstrate achievement of the acquired skills, and who passed
the exam.
A certificate of attendance may be issued to
students who did not achieve 60% in the exam. |
